My Letter to the Teacher

Dear Mr Waugh

I am a student that will be attending your Level 2 English Class this year.

Things I believe you need to know about me to help both of us to survive the up coming year are:

I have a learning difficulty known as dyslexia, more specifically I have a difficulty with decoding words on paper and understanding the tone and speed at which people speak to portray emotion in their words.

As a personal goal for this year I will be trying to create a full portfolio(or the beginnings of one) for art and computing, to demonstrate the development of my skills in those area’s so I have something to demonstrate my amazingness to universities.

We both know that my skill in public speaking are on pare to say Martin Luther King.Jr or even you from my amazing demonstration last year when we had to write and present a speech on a controversial topic, so I believe that I can just skip that part of this year’s assessment’s and just work on the skill’s required to past the exams and internals that will occur this year.

I am very excited to be in your unique class this year Mr Waugh.

Kind Regards.

  1. Hi Eamon,

Thanks so much for the letter. I absolutely love how your mischief and humour come through in every crevice. I’m really looking forward to working with you this year, and on working on clearing some more of the barriers you had encountered out of the way so you can fully express yourself in our subject.

I think we’re going to have a brilliant year.

    Kind regards,

    Chris Waugh
