Timeline:
Dan gets time belt from Jim(uncle) 20th century
Dan goes on many adventures with Daun (Knows his future)
Dan removes himself completely from the time line and is left alone (looses sight of his future)
Dan finds Dauna shit happens (doesn’t think of the future stays in the now as best he can)
Dauna becomes pregnant and then Dan takes a version of the child to the time period he came from (Calls the child his name and becomes uncle Jim)
Dan raises himself as Jim and bestoes apon his “nephew” the time belt, hoping that how he has bestoed it was a more constructive way then how it was bestoed apon him.
Towards the end of the book he sees himself die, after all of the above he comes to terms with his death and follows through with it, contiuning the cycle of his life.

The man who folded himself is about a person who before being able to time travel life was a bore, nothing interested them.
But after getting the last vist from the last family member he had, he was left with a time travelers belt.

After having be stuck in a boring rut of life he is given the opertuinty to change his life in a big way. As expected when someone who has nothing then is given the key to everything that has happened and what ever will happen, his actions endup clompletly removing himself from the time line, from everything completely.

As he travels through time, he doesn’t travel alone, he travels with himself. He uses the fact that there is a future version of himself to prove that he will be alive tomorrow, he also figures that if his actions are different to what the other Daniel does, it causes a paradox which splits him from the regular time line and seperating himself from all the other Daniels, unless he goes back far enough to where he hasn’t removed himself from the original timeline yet.

After completly remvoing himslef from the time line he travels back to a point where he finds another version of himself that has also rem oved themselves from the time line, it is a female version of himself. He manages to have a 2 children with himself, 1 male and 1 female, Dan takes the boy and Dauna takes the girl. They go back to there respective time period and raise there children as there childrens aunty/uncle.
